Willmott Dixon launches search for future leaders
Latest cohort will join the company’s existing 85 trainees in a variety of roles, from construction management to health and safety
Willmott Dixon is seeking 30 management trainees across various disciplines as part of its investment in future leaders.
The company is offering opportunities for school leavers and graduates to start careers in construction.
The roles include construction management, quantity surveying, design management, mechanical and electrical services, IT, health and safety, business development, estimating and planning, as well as year-out placement opportunities.
Willmott Dixon’s training programme was established in 1979. Former trainees include Graham Dundas who joined the company in 1998 as a management trainee and was appointed to CEO in 2024, and Stewart Brundell who was the company’s first trainee of the year in 1989 and is now managing director for the London and East region.
The trainee programme is part of the company’s annual investment of £2.5m to train its people.
There are currently 85 trainees undertaking the programme, which takes between two to five years to complete, subject to entry point. Participants also earn a salary while they study for a relevant qualification.
The application process involves a video interview, with those selected then invited to meet the team during an assessment day. Find more information here.
