Free CPD webinar on 30 April will explore the merits of obtaining qualifications that prove your skills
As the industry strives to improve – and prove – its competencies in the wake of the Building Safety Act, there’s every reason for those working in construction to ensure not only that their skills are up to date, but also that they can back up those skills with qualifications.
This virtual event, delivered in association with the University of College Estate Management (UCEM), will see experts from academia and industry dive into the value of gaining the qualifications that prove your skillset, not only for individuals working in construction, but also for their employers.
The speakers will be:
- Marc Fleming, academic delivery manager in Construction Management at UCEM
- Umar Farooq, project manager at AtkinsRéalis and member of the CIOB’s Tomorrow’s Leaders community
- Luke Forrest, learning and development lead for apprentices and graduates at Sweco UK
