National Apprenticeship Week: HS2 announces new roles
Successful candidates will gain experience across a varied programme of work, learning and study
To coincide with National Apprenticeship Week, HS2 Ltd has confirmed more apprentice roles will be created across the project.
Recruitment has opened for 19 new roles within the organisation, with more apprenticeships set to be created in the coming months with HS2’s stations and civils construction partners.
The first round of jobs include Level 3 and Level 4 opportunities with the project management, cyber security, customer service and quality practitioner teams.
Apprentices will gain hands-on work experience at HS2’s headquarters, satellite offices and 350 live construction sites.
Karen Davis, head of talent and development at HS2, said: “We’re extremely proud of our apprenticeship programme, which is carefully developed to ensure every candidate benefits from a varied programme of work experience, learning and study.
“If you’re just starting out in your career, or looking for a complete change in direction, an HS2 apprenticeship could set you on track for a promising future.”
The roles are open to anyone who has achieved, or is expected to achieve, five GCSEs at grade 4 minimum, including English and Maths, or equivalent.
Candidates have until 18 March 2024 to submit their application.
