Mace continues commitment to Armed Forces
As a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, Mace’s support for service leavers includes tailored careers advice
Mace has pledged its continued support for the Armed Forces and ex-military by re-signing the Armed Forces Covenant.
As a signatory of the covenant, the company actively recruits people choosing to transition from the military to civilian life.
The pledge also includes the provision of a bespoke Mace Military Programme, which offers tailored advice and support to service leavers who are considering joining Mace.
The company has also established the Military at Mace Network – an employee resource group that provides informal support to veterans and Reservists, while also helping to raise funds for Armed Forces charities.
Mark Reynolds, Mace Group chair and CEO, said: “Our Armed Forces provide us with the safety and security to operate, which we must not take for granted, and I’m proud that we’re able to use our unique expertise to help these vital institutions operate effectively.
“I’m also proud of our ability to draw on the skills of people leaving the military, providing them with a route into civilian employment. Whether working in secure environments within our defence and national security team, building iconic skyscrapers or delivering social infrastructure, our signing of the Armed Forces Covenant cements our commitment to service leavers.”
