AtkinsRéalis announces women’s internship scheme in Brazil
Applications are open for the new Elas na AtkinsRéalis internship programme
AtkinsRéalis is launching Elas na AtkinsRéalis, an internship programme to promote and encourage the inclusion of women in engineering in Brazil.
Paid internships are available to female students currently enrolled in engineering and administrative higher education courses.
The programme’s selection process will involve an online test, interviews and admission exams.
Successful candidates will work in AtkinsRéalis’ Belo Horizonte office for one year, with the potential of having the paid internship renewed for an additional year.
Alexsandra Lima, human resources senior manager at AtkinsRéalis, said: “86% of the students who have interned with us since 2022 have been hired into our workforce.
“We are committed to gender inclusion at AtkinsRéalis Brazil. Nearly 42% of our local company leadership and just over 38% of our permanent staff are women.
“Through the Elas na AtkinsRéalis programme and others like it, we seek to further enhance our diversity.”
The deadline for applications is 31 July. Find more information about the application process here.
